Welcome to the Houston Teo Chew Temple

Welcome to the Teo Chew Temple. Situated right next to Arthur Storey Park, our temple is a Buhddist temple and a hidden gem in Houston's Chinatown.

We're open to visitors daily with free admission for anyone who wishes to explore, learn about and pay respect to the 14 Gods that are honored in our temple.

Outside, you were greeted by Quan Am, the goddess of mercy - she is also honored inside the temple - as well as a wishing well that includes the 12 signs of the zodiac where visitors can toss coins in hopes that a prayer will be answered.
